"Each one gives as he proposed in his heart: not sadly, nor out of necessity, because God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9: 6-12 (KJV). We cannot stop sharing with others the blessings that God gives us every day. God has been our greatest example, he gave everything out of love for us. His word teaches us that it is more blessed to give than to receive, whether we share much or little, it will bring us satisfaction. We can affirm that, in difficult times, we have seen the love of God through generous hands that blessed our lives. Thus we learned that adverse circumstances make us more grateful and generous with others. Sometimes life forces us to stop, to teach us to depend more on God, who is the owner of all things: and we verify that nothing is ours, and that we need to depend on the Holy Spirit to be good stewards and givers of this funny. Also, it is important to understand that we should not give out of emotion, manipulation, pressure, to receive something in return, reluctantly, because it will become a burden.
On the contrary, the word of God specifies that it should be: 1 with joy, because God “loves” a cheerful giver. 2 As he proposed in his heart and generously. 3 The decision to give brings great blessings 4 God will give seed to the one he sows: vs.10 5 Supply what the saints lack vs.12 6 Produces thanksgiving to God vs. eleven 7 And he will increase the fruits of our justice 10 The apostle Paul was helped by the Philippians with his offerings and thanks them with these words: “My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
